Not only do we want you to join Blessed Sacrament,
but we don't want you to "miss out" on the thrill of the colorguard
experience. Networking with other guards is sometimes useful when a dancer
moves to another part of the country, or if he/she auditions
for a "spot" in SAC or another guard, and does not make the "cut."
SAC does advocate that, "One colorguard's loss is another
colorguard's gain." Should anybody want to be part of colorguard,
auditioning for any team across
the country is your personal choice. Therefore, interested
people can check these sites to find out when auditions are held
for other guards.
Two of Blessed Sacrament's top competitors, Emerald Marquis Colorguard and
St. Ann's World Colorguard, reside right here in the East Coast (Emerald Marquis
is from Wakefield, MA; and St. Ann's is from Dorchester, MA). Although
Blessed Sacrament thrives on maintaining its competitive edge with other
competing colorguards, it is not unlike SAC to support their local
rivalries at regional and national championships, where the competition
against west coast and southern colorguards is even greater. To learn
more about the styles of these two local guards and other out-of-state
guards such as the Alliance of Miami in Florida, click on the images
below, and check them out!
