Likes:
- Josh's "toss the baby" game. (Makes Jessica nervous, but
Josh says he's very careful)
- Josh's "drop the baby" game. (see above!)
- His new Winnie the Pooh bear from Aunt Sarah & Uncle Magnus
- Eating bananas from his mesh feeder. (like a banana popsicle, sort
of)
- Being surprised. When you say "BOO" at him, his eyes get
wide, then he laughs.
- Playing with toys in the bathtub. Splash Splash Splash!
Dislikes:
- Being awakened from a good nap
- When nobody is paying attention to him
Sleep Habits:
It's been a bit more hit or miss lately. Still no teeth though, so
we don't know what's causing the sleep issues. Some nights he sleeps
through, some nights he's up three times. Keeps us on our toes!
Other Happenings:
- Toby has increased his food repertoire to include rice cereal, carrots,
banana, apple, peas, beans, sweet potatoes, squash and apples. He has
two meals a day now; we're thinking of adding lunch as well. Jessica
makes most of it for him in a food mill, but he likes baby food as well.
- Toby likes to give Mom chin "kisses." Well, we call them
kisses, they're actually really big bites (thank goodness, no teeth!)
with Mom's whole chin in his mouth, usually while yelling & laughing.
- He makes a funny clucking / smacking noise when he's hungry.
- We're working on doing baby sign language. The signs we're teaching
him are: milk, more, eat, and all done. We'll see if he picks it up!
- Toby has moved to a 'big boy' carseat. -no more convenient bucket
seat!
