Collaboratory for Research on Global Projects (CRGP) at Stanford University.  A research collaboration (private and public sector) designed to advance the science and practice of planning and implementing global projects.

Equator Principles:  A voluntary set of guidelines developed by ten leading banks for managing social and environmental issues related to the financing of development projects. To download a pdf copy of the current principles (revised July 2006), click here.

Experts Group on Developing Country Infrastructure Finance--Enhancing Capital Market Financing with Private-Public Risk Sharing:  an on-line, members only discussion group focusing on how to attract financing to developing-country infrastructure projects. 

Extractive Industries Review:  The EIR (also known as the "Salim Report" after the review leader Dr. Emil Salim) was launched by the World Bank Group to discuss its future role in the extractive industries with concerned stakeholders. The aim of this independent review is to produce a set of recommendations that will guide involvement of the World Bank Group in the oil, gas and mining sectors.

Harvard Electricity Policy Group:  a forum for research and debate on electricity restructuring in the US.

International Project Finance Association

Major Projects Association:  Based in the UK, the MPA provides a forum for organizations concerned with large complex projects to share knowledge and experience.

Modern Project Finance:  A Casebook (Wiley, 2003)  Written as a guide to the dynamic and increasingly important field of project finance, this casebook provides a detailed description and analysis of recent project-financed transactions.  Other books describe what project finance is and how it works, this book analyzes the challenges of structuring, valuing, and financing project companies.

Projects Monitor:  India’s first and only newspaper (bi-weekly) that is wholly dedicated and devoted to projects.

Risky Business:  Assessing reputational risk in project finance.
